What Time Is It?

What Time Is It?

Welcoming The New Year, 2019

There is excitement, uncertainty, a little bit of fear and a whole lot of hope every time a new year dawns. This is how I, for one, always feel anyway.

Excitement for the unknown because, adventures, you know? Uncertainty and fear for the very same reason. But you hope that at the end of your adventures…well, the end of the year anyway….you will have accomplished something worthwhile.

So, what is it that you hope to accomplish this year of 2019? What do you want to see come full circle in your life? What is it that you want to look at with pride and satisfaction come December 31, 2019 and say, “I did it!”?

For myself, a whole lot, but I’m not getting into them at this time. Rather, I’m girding myself for works, and making sure that I get things done.

I have Hope and Faith for all good things in my life. This is my Time, and it is a Time for Divine Blessings and Promises to be fulfilled, indeed and amen!

As for you, dear friends, what Time is it for you?

The Golden Key

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV
“[1] To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: [2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; [3] A time to

I did wonder how I can make this year as my Time. But the wondering is more a starting point and less a lack of Faith or Confidence. To get an answer, a question is needed.

So yes, I asked and wondered. For me, the answer comes easily.

“Trust in my God and Lord. Obey and be faithful.”

That’s it, that’s the Golden Key: to trust in Him and to obey Him faithfully.

I get it, getting and having the ‘Key’ is easy. Using it however, is a whole other matter. After all, it is one Key, albeit an important one, and the year is long. Like, really long…12 months, 365 days, and how many hours?! A lot can happen. The Key could get lost or misplaced or stolen!

There are also other variables, unpredictable ones….people, circumstances, things, yourself and so on….which could distract from the Key.

Can you hold on to your Key and in fact, use it all year long?

You can. I can. Because this is My Time and I will not lose sight of this Truth. I will hold on to my Key and use it.

The way I see it, the more often you use your Key, the less chance there is of it getting lost, missplaced or stolen. You always have it in hand or close by. This is true, I lost many keys before because I didn’t use them much. I also forgot where I last put them. Go figure.

So use the Key, keep it close. Wear it like a necklace around your neck, why not.

The Very Important Parts

Here are the very necessary components of the Key to help you use it :

Hebrews 11:1 KJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (a future and a hope).”

Psalm 65:11 KJV
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.”

Put together: My Faith and Hope, God’s Divine Guidance and Providence, plus His Endgame, equals my Success and Blessings. Thus, the Golden Key.

Like I said, this year is My Time, and I will enjoy every second of it in His Glory, amen.

So, friends, again, what Time is it for you?
