Your countenance is altogether lovely, my love,
Your smile beckons me closer;
Like the stars shining in the heavens above,
Your eyes shine, making me grow bolder.
My heart beats a joyous rhythm,
Skipping a’dance to the happy tune,
Singing to the words of this psalm,
Flowing softly into a gentle croon.
The sight of you is thusly mine welcome,
A sight to behold for sore eyes;
My once cold heart no more numb,
For in my soul your gentleness lies.
